Boyd and Erin are long time Volkswagen enthusiasts and consider their 1977 Volkswagen Camper a part of their family. They camp in her as often as they can along with their twin boys and the shop mascot, Wilson. The couple spent their first vacation together exploring the island of Hawaii (The Big Island) in a rental 1986 Vanagon Westfalia and took a honeymoon exploring New Zealand in a Volkswagen Eurovan for two full weeks. They started Rocky Mountain Campervans in order to bring their love of low key, low impact, campervan travel to Colorado and the American West.
